Logo Page

Now the question is what type of logo do you have?

As I see it, you can have three types of logos that you would have on your nametags:

Black and White, Color or Exact Pantone Match Color

Black and White logos...

If your logo is black and white, you can engrave it with no problem.  Color logos can be engraved also, however, they must be converted to black and white.  Why?  Because engraved nametags have two colors.  The background color and the engraved color.  We cannot engrave more than one color.  For example, if you would like a White nametag with green letters, then everything that is black in your logo would engrave green on the nametag.  All that is white in your logo, would not engrave.  This process is good for short runs of 10 or 20 and long runs of 500.

The second option for black and white logos is hot-stamping.  This allows a third color.  All of the black in your logo will be stamped one color, you have a background color and then, an engraved color.  This process is good for runs of 200 or more.

Color logos,

A color process is the best way to go for color logos, whether you have one, two, three or nine colors in your logo, we can print your logo onto a white, ivory, gold, yellow, baby blue, pink or silver background.  From there you can choose what color you would like your text.  The nametag is printed on a durable nametag material.  It is UV coated with the same material as a driver's license or photo ID.  This process also allows printing for shading effects.  The downfall, some companies require exact Pantone Matching and this process cannot do exact matching, it can come very close often times within 1 or two shades.  This process is good for runs of any length.  If you need these in 2 days you can have them.

The second option for color logos is hot-stamping.  Depending on your logo, you may be able to hot-stamp the nametags.  There is no limit on colors, however, logos with more than three colors can be tedious.  You have your logo, you have a background color and then, an engraved color.  This process is good for runs of 200 or more.

Pantone Match Color Logo.

For Pantone Match colors the only process available is silk-screening.  This process is an excellent choice for long runs (300 or more nametags) or those wishing to order blanks in large quantities and apply the names later.  Initial set-ups are expensive, but pay for in the long run.  Silk screening takes 2-3 to set-up the art and films and 6-9 days for printing and drying, etc.  If you need name tags now, try the color process nametags.
